Our only way back in to the Leeds Test was early wickets. We didn’t bowl well enough again and they got away from us. Clarke and North played very well and they posted a first innings score of 445.

We were on a high from Lord’s going in to the Edgbaston test and we knew we had a great chance of going 2-0 up if we played well again. But the weather got the better of the game

A fantastic victory at Lords and a 1-0 lead going in to the 3rd test at Edgbaston. We have a few days before the next game and we need to prepare ourselves for the Aussies to come back strong which they will definitely do.

After all the hype and build up, the 1st Ashes Test is finally over. And what a 1st Test it was!

Its an exciting time to be an English cricketer. There has been a lot of hype surrounding the upcoming Ashes series and I think I speak for most of the players when I say I just can’t wait for it to start!
